Meet the Winery: Nasiakos Winery
In the heart of two of Greece’s most celebrated wine regions—Mantinia and Nemea—the Nasiakos family cultivates vineyards that express the true essence of the Peloponnese. Set at striking elevations, these vineyards stretch across the Arcadian plateau of Mantinia and the renowned “Kotsi” site, one of the highest points in Nemea.
Led by Leonidas Nasiakos, who serves as viticulturist, winemaker, and producer, the winery is a true labor of passion and precision. Every bottle reflects his hands-on approach and deep respect for Greece’s indigenous varietals, including the aromatic Moschofilero and the bold, expressive Agiorgitiko.
At elevations reaching 2,000 feet in Mantinia and over 2,700 feet in Nemea, the vineyards benefit from cooler temperatures and extended growing seasons. This unique environment allows the grapes to mature slowly, developing balanced sugar levels and complex flavors. Harvest arrives later than usual—between mid-September and early October—ensuring each grape reaches optimal ripeness.
Imagine standing among these high-altitude vines, surrounded by fresh mountain air and sweeping views of the Peloponnesian landscape. While that experience may feel far away, every bottle brings you closer—capturing the elegance, freshness, and authenticity of these remarkable vineyards.
Through our partnership, we’re proud to bring the distinctive wines of Nasiakos Winery directly to your home.
